My Story - Life Will Keep Lifing; Keep Living
Life is full of ups and downs. One moment, you’re soaring; the next, it feels like the world is crashing down on you.
When I got divorced, I felt buried beneath pain and shame. Then, slowly, the flowers bloomed, the sun came out, and joy returned.
But then, the unthinkable happened — I buried my firstborn son.
Grief hit like a tidal wave. Once again, life felt unbearable… until it wasn’t. Eventually, the waters calmed, and the storm ceased — until it thundered again.
The Bible says in John 16:33, “In this life, you will have tribulation, but take heart — I have overcome the world.” I’ve learned it’s not about avoiding life’s storms — it’s about anchoring to the One who calms them.
Through faith, therapy, and community, I discovered how to rise. And that’s why I created VernitaInspires - a movement to help women like you rise from the ashes of grief into a life of power, purpose, and peace.
Because life will keep lifing, however, you can keep living.
